Refund Policy
Version 2026-04-21 · Effective: 2026-04-21
Our default policy
Because our Products are digital and delivered instantly by download, we do not offer refunds by default once the download link has been accessed. This default does not override statutory consumer rights in your jurisdiction (see below). Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion for technical issues preventing access.
When we do refund
- Duplicate purchases — we refund the duplicate on request.
- File won’t open or is corrupted — we send a replacement. If we cannot fix the file within a reasonable time, we refund in full.
- Material mis-description — where the Product substantially differs from its product page, we refund in full.
- You have not yet downloaded and change your mind within 14 days — we refund in full (EU/UK right of withdrawal below).
How to request
Email hello@thedigitaldeck.com from the email address you used at checkout, quote the order / Stripe receipt number, and describe the issue. We reply within 2 business days and, where a refund is agreed, process it within 5 business days back to the original payment method.
Australia — Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. For a major failure with our digital Product, you are entitled to a refund or replacement. For a non-major failure, we may elect to repair or replace. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. More info at accc.gov.au.
EU / EEA — 14-day right of withdrawal
Under Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance-sold digital content. This right is lost once:
- you give express prior consent to begin downloading;
- you acknowledge that starting the download extinguishes the withdrawal right; and
- we provide a confirmation of that acknowledgement.
The checkout flow collects both the consent and the acknowledgement. If you did not start the download you retain the 14-day right; email us and we will refund within 14 days of receipt of your withdrawal notice.
United Kingdom — Consumer Rights Act 2015
Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose you made known, and as described. If not, you are entitled to a repair or replacement and, where that cannot cure the issue, a price reduction or refund. The 14-day right of withdrawal mirrors the EU position above.
United States
Most US states do not impose a statutory refund right on digital goods. Where your state law requires otherwise, that law overrides our default. For California residents see also Civil Code §1789.3 referenced in our Terms.
